The La Mascaronne terroir is suitable for producing red wines. Historic at the estate, the vines dedicated to the production of Château La Mascaronne Rouge benefit from the most beautiful exposures, on the upper part of the vineyard. Syrah, the majority, is complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon.
The grapes are selected drastically, in the vineyard then in the cellar, to keep only the best quality berries. In the cellar, some of the wines are aged for a year in French oak barrels. Intense, complex, structured, Château La Mascaronne Rouge has all the assets to be enjoyed within five to ten years following the harvest.
