At La Mascaronne, we meticulously select the soils on which we grow the grapevines used to produce our white wines. The Vermentino that makes up the majority of the blend is picked at the very end of harvest to guarantee optimal concentration and maturity, and the resulting wines are a wonderful expression of the grape’s natural aromas.
A smaller portion of Semillon grapes brings a certain complexity to the final blend. Delectable when young, Château La Mascaronne Blanc is also exquisite after three or four years of aging, when its floral notes and aromas of pear will have evolved into notes of apricot and quince.
